Computational Developer

Join Archilizer as a Computational Developer and turn code into architecture’s secret weapon — automating, connecting, and rethinking how BIM really works.

Role Description

We are seeking an exceptional Computational Developer to join our team in London.
This role is designed for a technically sharp, creatively inclined individual who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment. You’ll sit at the intersection of architecture, software, and data — writing code that makes the world of BIM smarter, faster, and a bit less painful.

You’ll work across a range of projects: automating Revit workflows, building Dynamo tools, developing integrations with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and crafting bespoke APIs and data pipelines.
A background in architecture is welcome, but a love for clean, elegant code is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom tools and automation scripts using C#, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Build integrations with ACC/BIM360 APIs, streamlining collaboration and data management.
  • Develop and maintain Dynamo scripts, Revit add-ins, and other computational workflows.
  • Collaborate with architects, BIM coordinators, and consultants to translate project needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Write efficient, maintainable code with attention to structure, documentation, and version control.
  • Support internal R&D exploring the boundaries between BIM, automation, and data visualization.
  • Present your work clearly — both to technical teams and to people who think “API” is a new furniture brand.

Qualifications

  • Strong programming experience in C#, Python, and/or JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Dynamo, and the ACC/BIM360 API ecosystem.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Familiarity with web APIs, data structures, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience or familiarity with React and TypeScript for front-end development.
  • Experience or familiarity with WPF and .NET technologies for desktop applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — clarity counts.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • A curious mind, an eye for detail, and the ability to turn messy architectural chaos into digital order.

Why Join Archilizer?

  • Work on meaningful, technically sophisticated projects that reshape how architecture operates.
  • Join a team where BIM meets code — and both are treated with equal respect.
  • Thrive in a culture built on curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration.
  • Be part of a company that values intelligence, initiative, and good humor.
